When you upgrade your system to a solid state drive you may want to test the performance of it to see the improvement over your hard drive. There are many tools which can benchmark your solid state drive to test its read and write speeds though one of these tools is CrystalDiskMark.
CrystalDiskMark is a free tool which tests the performance of your solid state drive. It’s results are accurate and the interface is clear and easy to use. With this software you can easily select the drive you want to benchmark and see the read and write speeds in a variety of tests.
CrystalDiskMark is a fairly small application which allows you to easily test the performance of your solid state drives. This software allows you to benchmark compressible and incompressible data, making it able to test different aspects of your storage device. By default, CrystalDiskMark is set to test incompressible data by using random test data. To change the test data click file, then test data and select ‘All 0xFF (1 Fill)’.
We recommend using CrystalDiskMark when benchmarking your solid state drive thanks to it’s easy to use interface and accurate results.
